We are very happy to be announcing that we will soon be sending out entry forms for our official club Regatta 2025! Entry forms will be sent directly to many clubs, however if you are not usually in attendance of our regatta or have specific questions about the events or boat storage options please contact us at secretary@nithsdalerowing.org We look forward to hearing from you soon and to seeing you on the river Nith with us this June! (Please note we will be posting on our social media and website a list of the specific events we will be running shortly! This may save you from having to reach out to us regarding event questions)

Looking for a great night out this June? Well you're in luck, Nithsdale ARC is proud to present a fun filled night featuring live music from local band Kurlew, a great atmosphere and a cash only bar! On the 27th of June: Doors open at 6:30 with music starting from 7:30, tickets cost £10 (paid by bank transfer) Three will also be support acts appearing before our main event (Kurlew) and throughout the night. What an amazing day on Sunday! A huge thanks to Cambois Rowing Club for hosting us and for organising a brilliant day of racing fun in the Northern league! Congratulations to both of our Nithsdale teams on their winning streak (3 races each with 3 victories each!), 💪🥳🚣🚣‍♀️

New years exercise resolutions needing a helping hand? Ha Ever wanted to give rowing a try? Great news! Our spring 2025 "Learn2Row" course still has limited places available! It's a fully coached, 8 week program starting the 22nd of April that will teach you the essentials of rowing both on the water and off! For only £80 you get 8 lessons (both indoor and outdoor) from trained rowing coaches that will take you from zero knowledge to a competent rower ready to hop in a boat! You'll also get to meet our fantastic local community and have fun while exercising and meeting new people! A fully coached 8 week program designed to take you from zero knowledge to a competent rower! It's a great way for kids and adults alike to get out and involved in the local community! We are so happy to announce that entries for our annual "Learn2Row" Spring 2025 course are NOW OPEN! 🎉 Starting 22nd April 2025 We will be running an 8 week, coached rowing program designed to take you from zero knowledge of rowing to a skilled and competent rower! Over the 8 weeks you will gain practical knowledge and skills both on and off the water as well as getting to know us and our local community! The course costs £80 and this covers all boats and equipment! All you need to bring is a water bottle and a desire to row!
